Hello Cycling Friends
The COVID-19 virus is presenting all of us with challenges that most have never experienced. Folsom Bike feels that our best course of action is to address these challenges with thoughtful and strategic actions to mitigate the risks. As a private transportation provider we will continue to support the community and maintain employment for the staff, Folsom Bike will remain open for modified business with reduced hours. We will continue to take additional precautions for you and your bike:
Only 5 people will be allowed in the store at a time with enforced social distancing of 6 ft.
We kindly ask all customers in our stores to wear face masks
Limited staff will be on hand to provide and meet the needs of our customers
Service Department will be open as normal, please be patient
All desktops, counters, phones, payment machines are being disinfected multiple times daily
All surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, chairs, phones, etc are being cleaned with disinfectant multiple times per day
We are always happy to see you, but we have stopped shaking hands and replaced it with more smiles and actions to help you keep riding
Folsom Bike has hand sanitizing stations throughout the store for employee and customer use
All bikes have the pertinent surface areas wiped down with disinfectant prior to the staff working on them and after the completion of surface
Folsom Bike will provide pick up/drop off in a controlled environment to be compliant with best practices.
We understand the above measures will not solve the issues at hand; however, they should provide some relief and address some concerns raised by customers and staff. Folsom Bike will continue to monitor the current status of COVID-19 virus and act accordingly with each new piece of information provided by the CDC & Sacramento County Directive.
Stay safe, don't panic and remember being outside and riding your bike is actually a good thing for you and your family.
FINALLY, don't forget to tag Folsom Bike in your social media posts showing you social distancing on two wheels!
